The Alter Ego - The changing face of man - Part05 (The connections)

The second half of the ID did not contain his photograph. I asked if the acting dean could help me get the photograph of Ramana. He was so cooperative that he asked the admin staff immediately to get me the photograph of Ramana. Then asked him if i could rather get a glance at the hospital employee records personally and find more connections if any regarding this case.

After a while I was taken to the admin department and was going through the official staff database of the hospital. I could barely find any people who might be connected to the case. Since the task was not fruitful I asked to complete the task as fast as they could and asked them to print the details of three people, The Dean, Jeevan the Plastic Surgeon and the mortuary attender Ramana.

First I was not taking the task seriously as i could not find any interesting information regarding the case. But when the prints are in my hand and as I glanced through them, I was shocked to see it. Ramana the attender at the mortuary has the same face that resembled Teja, who got his face transplanted after an accident. Thats the first connection I got in the case.

The connections till now,
The masked man is probably Jeevan as he appeared in the same mask and treated Teja. The masked man killed the mortuary attender Ramana and transplanted his face to Teja. Then the masked man killed his own father whom he attempted to kill previously but did not succeed as I just appeared at the place in my police jeep.

The connections that are still unclear,
What happened to the missing dean and why did Jeevan kill his own father. I was still in confusion and asked the hospital staff to get me the postmortem report of Jeevan's father. To my astonishment Jeevan's blood group in his profile did not match with that of father. When a postmortem happens they write with the report all physical resemblances on the body before starting the actual work. So, They described in detail the placing of moles on his body, an extra left hand thumb finger, a scar probably of an accident on the right arm and so on. When I was glancing through the details of the Deans employee profile before I had a look at the postmortem report, I got to see all these remarks, He underwent a surgery at the same hospital just few years ago following a road accident in which he lost all his family since then he did not enter the house which was in the backyard of the hospital and was living in his office only. I also looked at the photographs hanged in the Deans room to confirm that the attributes mentioned in the employee profile of the dean, Postmortem report of Jeevans father and the photographs match exactly or not. I took them to the database room which is the CCTV room and then examined all three closely and to my astonishment all three match exactly.

Now, The mystery is unfolding and as well as complicating itself. I know most of the facts but there is no way I can confirm the facts until I reach Jeevan. Jeevan has efficiently managed for most part of the case to hide every detail of his in this case. First he ripped of the skin from dead body without foreseeing the grief of its parents, Later when he got dismissed for the act he probably wanted his revenge over the dean and started planning his attack on the dean. While there are some unclear threads such as why did he kill the attender at the mortuary, why did he transplant his face to Teja. These can only be known when I get to meet Jeevan. Jeevan the mask man has to come in open to reveal the facts.

The Alter Ego - The changing face of man Part 4

Next what I did was, Since I am unable to trace out this case. I thought I would rather simultaneously pick up another case also. The case of the missing dean, If he is found, I can at least know the character traits and the circumstances that led to dismissing Jeevan.

In the hope, I went and met the acting dean, This time since I was more familiar a figure, I was offered a chair, Tea as I entered the room. The acting dean was not a old one. If one were to see that there is a difference of this many years between the actual dean and the acting dean, Even this acting dean would also have been a suspect in the case of the missing dean.

We started our conversation. I inquired the acting dean about the case. I wanted to check the belongings of the dean room and about his family and where did he live and all that.

The Acting dean now started the story :

The Dean was a bachelor and he hasn't got a family. He used to live a simple life dedicated to work all the time. 3 weeks back he suspended Dr.Jeevan otherwise Dr.Jeevan should be the acting dean in his place. He has got a house just to sleep during odd hours just behind the hospital. But the dean used to spend almost all the day in the hospital. So, most of his belongings, clothes etc., can be found in the hospital itself. He showed me the way to that room. I entered it it was simple as for the man. But different from an usual corporate hospital dean's room. It has a closet full of clothes a glass rack which contained glass tumblers, porcelain utensils, a long glass jar to fill water in, A water purifier, a microwave.
The dean has split the room into two one side being his office and the other being a dormitory for self where he would not need to go out for anything. He can cook, sleep on a comfortable couch, read books from the bookshelf, make notes of the case at the office desk. Can access internet from his laptop, play the odd little game near the adjacent garden that has a badminton court in it. So, I was going through every little detail that I could find in this room. I looked around in the room for any traces of material by which I could get a clue of why the dean went missing. There is another place in the room that points to the actual house of the dean through the window. I went to the window at the far end of the room. This time I found something amusing. There was stinking smell all around and a dog was found carrying a bloody flesh in its mouth. I ran to the acting deans office and asked him about it. But he too was unaware of it. Only the deans room has the access to backyard of the hospital other than the mortuary. The mortuary has a back door from where the dead bodies will be brought in without affecting the normal public. I along with the acting dean went to the mortuary entered through the back door and went in the direction from which the stinking smell was coming. As we approached closer we could see the dead body of a man torn into to pieces probably by the dogs and other animals near by. We went further closer to the body, the body was totally decomposed and we could barely see the face, but to our luck an Id that was cut to half is found just beside the body. The name on the card read Ramana. The acting dean reported that he is the attender at the mortuary.

The case is getting too complicated now. There are a total of 4 cases to be solved involving Jeevan dismissal from the hospital, Missing of the dean, Murder of Jeevan's father by Jeevan himself, and now the latest entry death of Ramana, the attender at the mortuary.

The Alter Ego - The changing face of man Part 3

Steadily I am getting to the conclusions, but still I do not get any clarity why the old man had a picture of the dean. So, I got to hurry up and know the whereabouts of Jeevan Kumar. I went back home. Had a little nap, but still my mind is fully fixed on the case, I woke up and went to the mirror. My eyes were red and suddenly I was shocked to see myself having half of my face and other half of the skin pealed off and within minutes I saw it getting to normal.

This is how Teja would have felt when he first met with the accident. Its weird to believe but possible that Teja is now moving around with an unusual face which is not his own. Every time he see's himself in the mirror, There is another person who is looking at him with the same expression as himself but not looking like him. Hope Teja just believes that the face he has now is his own.

But first things first, I need to get back to the hospital and see if I could find details of Jeevan. That day I went back to the hospital. There were not many patients, I was going to the deans room directly. But suddenly out of no where came a stretcher running in from the sides in front of me, On the stretcher was lying a dead body. I thought at the first place that this was usual for a hospital and entered the deans room. I was talking to acting dean and enquiring about the details of Jeevan, A doctor entered the room and was totally tensed along with a police officer.

The doctor said to the dean,
" Sir, It is a mysterious case, you have to come and watch yourself."
The dean replied, " What happened ? " , he turned back to me and said " Excuse me officer if you don't mind I need to leave, We can discuss once I come back".

Now I was speaking to the dean, Its ok dean, but let me think, Its my job to solve the mysteries, so please allow me to also see what's happened?

"Ok sir, we shall go together", the dean replied.

We walked along and reached the mortuary, There was the dead body that was recently brought in. The dean had a look at the dead body and was stunned. what's this? this is the same person whom Jeevan treated and was the reason why he was suspended. How was he killed?

The parents of the original who lost their son some months back and who were not accepting their son's face to be given to some other has killed him in the centre of the road. Because their son did not had his cremation rites done correctly they were too sad and killed him with their own hands.

Now I understood why the dean expelled him. At first I thought Jeevan was right in giving the dying a face from stealing it from the dead. Like stealing the rich and feeding the needy as shown in the films I thought he was a hero. But now, Emotionally he was also a villain to those who lost the last chance to have a glance at their son and longing to hug him for the last time before his body disappears in the fire.

But this was all past, The dean explained how the parents longed for the body of their son and how they felt when he was returned to them with his facial skin pealed off. That's how I felt when I looked in the mirror. Then, I asked the dean about Jeevan and got his details, this time more furious and determined to solve the case. I got his details, I went to his house, his house was locked I enquired the neighbours and they said that after Jeevan got suspended both his parents and wife left the place. I asked if I can have the details of their family and where they were living etc., but they do not know a word after Jeevan got suspended. I also enquired if they atleast have the picture, description or anything about their family. Suddenly in the neighbours house there was a boy who was studying his 12th he said he has pictures of the whole family of Jeevan during one of the parties that was held at their home.

He showed me the pictures and I was shocked once again, The old man who has a photo of the dean in his purse was none other than Jeevan's father and if Jeevan was the masked man why would he kill his own father.

The Alter Ego - The changing face of man - Part 2

The pat was from an unknown person. Before I could speak a word, the guy said, I can make your brother face ready. But I would like some favour in return. I took him lightly, both my parents started pleading him. Please return Teja to normal we need him badly. Even Teja was hearing all this as he was conscious just then. Teja said to the guy, " Do what ever you want I want my face back". The guy said, " I cannot promise you your face but you would certainly get a good face".

So that's how my brother got this face, He is not the real one to have this face. That is the reason why he hasn't got any ID proofs to his name. And for the masked guy we too did not see the guy, the unknown person we were just talking about was the masked guy himself. We saw him in the mask too. Since we were too bothered of the face of our brother we did not try to look into the mask and know the guy and as of now we wanted our brother to totally recover from the accident hence we thought if people did not know of his identity, we will land in trouble and hence shifted him for some time to this Ameerpet mens hostel and I am taking care of the legal proceedings to confirm him to be the same Teja we know and re create his identity.

Getting back to Ravindra's Narration :

I was hearing all this, I cannot say I did not believe in what he was saying. But, I had my reservations, whether to believe in him or not is out of question now. I just wanted a way to meet the masked guy to come to a conclusion. So I asked him.....

Me : Where do I find the masked guy now.
Vivek : We don't have his particulars or adress.
Me  : Ok, Which hospital did u take Teja to...
Vivek : Remedy multi speciality hospital, KPHB.
Me : Thats where you met the masked guy last time right!
Vivek :yes.
Me : Ok, Thanks for the info. Can you name the doctor who treated Teja First at Remedy?
Vivek : Not too sure. But I hope the hospital staff to be helpful in this.

I was working my way out of the case. Wonderfully, I had the old man get to Remedy Hospital, when he was hit by the masked guy. So there was not a bit of confusion how I would be able to solve the case. I started analyzing all my strengths and weaknesses. In the next hour I got to the hospital asked the hospital staff regarding the plastic surgery department and got to meet with the doctor who treated Teja. He did not mention of any meeting with the masked guy. So I did not bother to ask him.

Since I am a cop i got to the security room directly and got to see the CCTV footage of the hospital. To my surprise the masked guy was entering the hospital and leaving everyday and no one took notice of him. After the attack on the old man he never surfaced again. I was watching closely at the current set of live feeds from all the CCTV's. Suddenly in one of the feeds I could see the masked guy. I asked the operator to zoom in and could now clearly see him entering the hospital. To my surprise he hit one of the access doors with an employee punch card and entered the room. I for once ran in  to the room  from which the feed was coming while i was entering the room there was a loud noise of gun shoot and when I entered the hospital room. The old man who I saved few days back was lying on the stretcher dead.

The masked guy to my surprise escaped from the crime scene. As I was the guardian of the old man I asked the hospital staff to arrange for a VIP room until the mystery of the case is unfolded. Only an employee from the hospital has access to this room with his punch card shown to an electronic access control system. Such was the security I ensured in this room. But still the masked man entered the room easily and killed the old fellow. He has an IQ of a genius I thought. If he were in police I would have respected him for my boss.

But still as a cop I need to solve the mystery before the masked guy plans for another murder. So I went ahead with the case. Again doing my routine check back at the security surveillance CCTV footage. I asked the operator to zoom on to the employee punch card, I could barely see the visual. Next I asked the operator to process the image and zoom onto the card and check for the name and ID of the employee. Yes, we got to some sort of conclusion. The name on the card read " Jeevan kumar" and then the processed image of the card being carried by the masked guy. We could now see it clearly, He has sharp eyes, Probably a +2 sight for both the eyes, Looked like a professional doctor. Then for an instant I was carried way that the man doesn't even look like a criminal, but, why is that he has to shoot that old man.

After rethinking the situation and analysing all the details. I asked all the hospital staff to be present before me. I checked everyone of their faces. None matches with the image. Then I showed the printed picture of the employee card which was being carried by the masked guy. All of a sudden they were discussing within themselves. One of the senior doctors came to me, he said that the guy was sacked some 6 months back and since then the dean of the hospital is found to be missing. They thought that the dean is dead and the guy who came to me to say about the punch card was actually made an acting dean until the return of the old dean.

I started inquiring about the missing dean. I was informed that he was found missing from the past 6 months. He was a bachelor and dedicated to the field of medicine. Good guy at heart and all praises for the dean. I asked the acting dean if I could have a photo of the old dean. He showed me one, and I was shocked again. This was the same picture that I collected from the belongings of the old man who was just killed. I thought there was no relevance of the old man having the photograph of him. If at all he was an acquaintance of him, I thought he would have come to the hospital to claim for the old man.

The case is getting too mysterious. I was landing no where with the multiple knots that were knit into this case.

The Alter ego - A changing face of man - Part 1

A guy with a black dress covering his face with a black hand kerchief, came in surprisingly from no where. It was right in the center of the Guchhibowli road that leads to hi-tech city. Just before one can realize what would happen he hit a walking old man nearly 50-55 years of age with a rod that he was carrying in his hand. It was dark and around 10 PM in the night. Still the horns of the software employees bikes are heard near by. But since it was a Saturday night, there wasn't much ado about the incident. I was riding my way back home when I heard the old man shout it out loud. I just returned to the spot and when I was about to catch him, the man in black has already ran many paces and left the place in a flash.

All the cases I have investigated so far have been regarding organized crime, money laundering, serial killing etc. But this one is different, different in the way the crime took place. There wasn't much to talk about the case. I couldn't prepare a case study file for this one as no one cared for the old man after a weeks time. I don't think he is a public celebrity as I have given a public advertisement in the newspaper about this man but no reply was heard of, Since he was in my custody I hope that the guy who hit him never returned to kill him.

So what was he, who was he, why he was targeted nothing absolutely nothing to deal with. The weak links that were left behind by the man who hit him were

  1. He used a high end Yamaha R15 bike for the crime was evident, as I happened to be at the crime scene myself.
  2. I had the number for the vehicle he used, from the CC TV footage of the Guchhibowli area.
So, with all my influence I asked the Road Transport department to get me to the owner of the vehicle. But to my surprise the number plate was faked, It was not original and there was no registration to the bike. Then I got an idea that I could check the total day activity of the bike holder with the same number plate if I could get the CCTV footage of the bike from all the CCTV recorders in the city. I did it, but once again I was lost, I got to see some other person on the bike to handover the bike to the masked guy who hit the old man. Then I got the inquiry for the man who handed the bike to the masked guy. He too was fake he has no ID registered with Indian government what so ever.

Then how do I get to him. The task still gloomy is making me test my ability. But am I getting too involved in a case that was not for me to solve. I could have let the old man recover from the wound and let him speak his mind out. But since I was with the intelligence department, I wanted to know the details as fast as I could before the old man comes to normal life. But then, I still am working for the case, I took pride in the fact that I could pin-point the location of the man who was with the masked guy with in a weeks time.

How did I get to him ?

This is how it happened, I took the recordings of the CCTV from all the days after the crime has been committed everyday from the traffic department. I was on the look-out for the same man in all those footage and could check that he happened to be a resident of the area near Ameerpet, I went to the area with the image of the guy in my hand and inquired his identity. I got to know that the person stays in a working men hostel near the area. I went to the hostel and asked for him. Luckily he was in the room and I went to talk to him. Now I was sitting before him in his room. I said to myself

Hey, I am now going to deal with a proper written case document. I will get the required clues from that person.
We sat there on the only comfortable couch that the hostel has, He is the only person getting such treatment i in the hostel as he paid very high price for getting those things. I was offered a cup of coffee, which I accepted with little doubt. While was about to start my questionnaire, a man entered the room, his room mate I thought, was a little old about 35 years of age.

I started the inquiry in formal way

well I said " I am Ravindra, from the Intelligence department, please introduce yourself"
He started to sweat as he heard me to say that I am a cop. After a little pause he restarted

" I am Teja. I work for a software firm in Hi-tech city. "

Me : Do you own a Yamaha R15.
Teja : Yes, but why do you ask.
Me : Is it with you now.
Teja : I sold it to one of my friends.
Me : Do you have the papers for the bike.
Teja : No, I handed it to a second owner.
Me : when did you do that.

Teja : Around 5 days back.
Me : Who is its owner now.
Teja : I don't know.
Me : You said he is your friend. How do say you don't know the owner.
Teja : Because that was the first time I met him. He was a complete unknown to me till then.
Me : Then how he happens to be your friend.

A bit bewildered for my questioning  he started sweating profusely. I was silent for a large amount of time. Then I spoke to him again, See this is not going to harm you in anyway. I have a much bigger case to deal with just explain the things as is. I wanted to know the answers for some straight questions to you. I couldn't find your face in the state or the central government ID's . I could have the number of your Yamaha R15 bike . How did that happen so that the number is not registered with the RTO.

The man who entered a while back came back to the couch on which we were sitting. started to talk to me.

" Hai, I am Vivek, I am Teja's brother. I work for a software firm too. "
Vivek : He doesn't know a bit about the Yamaha R15 and its number plate.
Me : Do you have some information about it?
Yes, he replied and started to carryon with the rest of the story.

Teja met with a brutal accident 8 days back on the outer ring road during a race using his R15. he was drunk at that moment, at around 4 AM in the morning I was carrying half shaved face to the hospital where I asked the staff to treat him. But they immediately called the police about the incident and were booking a case with the police. A senior surgeon came by and looked at his face.

The doctor checked his pulse, He was still alive, then started replying me. we can still save the guy but his face cannot be recovered. He took Teja to the operation theater where he started treatment. After some time a closely knit half plastic faced and half his own face Teja appeared before me. The doctor said since he cannot expose Teja's facial tissues he knit them with plastic. he left space for the eye but since the eye was totally damaged, he removed it and left the space vacant. I called our parents, they came by to the hospital, started crying like hell and asked me how it all happened. While I was explaining the situation, a person from my behind patted my back and turned around to see who it was.

If you like this post please comment it would help me in writing the second part. Any suggestions for the second part are invited.

A Dizzy day to start

I Have been sleeping the whole day till it was morning 8AM. I promised my boss that I would donate my blood if required while I am home sleeping. His father was going through a heart surgery and he said there may be a chance of him requiring my blood.I accepted it.

But I was writing the whole night and was late to bed. I just could wake up at 8AM in the morning and was groping for my mobile. Started searching for the call from my boss but there was none. I had a pregnant wife to deliver at any moment. She once for all called me just after she woke up from her bed not even bothering of cleaning her eyes, she has this habit of doing all the time. When ever she happens to be away from me, She calls me the moment she believes that its time to get out of bed.

I was lucky to have her, But my sober manners say that I would not bother for the love and affection she gave me, I will just pick her call say that I am still sleeping and cut the call. That was what I was doing from the past 3 years. She complains sometimes but satisfies herself for the reason that I at least picked her call.

People believe in you just because you are an acquaintance to them, even if your relationship is complex as a distant relation, or simple that of a husband and wife. If I was asked to come to the hospital at any moment during my dizzy sleep, they know for sure that I will be there by just within 10 minutes after I hear the call from them. That's the belief they have in me. That is the thing that has been saving me for the past 25 years.

All my relations believe me and cooperate with me whether I am correct or incorrect. They suggest sometimes if I were to do a mistake, rest all they leave it to me to handle .

So respecting your relations and working in tandem with them will finally take you to success.

Wondering how to win

It was a dark night not a new moon though. I was just returning back from office. The day was so smooth that I can hardly imagine of anything that went wrong on the day. Happily riding my bike, I was enjoying the almost midnight breeze when I suddenly came across three drunken youngsters who were all but weird.

They had almost more than one bottle of whisky each. Hit my bike, But I still managed to stay on the bike, while all the three due to the heavy load of alcohol that has already entered their trachea and was just about to do its magic fell apart on the road not totally down. They regained their drunken senses came back to me and started speaking non-sense. For the first time in my life I thought that someone would ever call me drunkard. They were all over my body like flies round some rotten material. Some of them started trying to hit me though.

I for all the time was not even thinking of escaping from the place. I had my right to do so, because I was not too flashy during the drive, I was not drunk either, I was not complaining for the damage that was done to my bike. But they were expecting me to say them sorry so that they can demand some compensation.

I would never ever do that in my life, I don't pay compensation for the deeds I did not do. I was always a practical man. If I made a mistake, I confess and pay the price. Otherwise not even god from the heaven and devil from the hell are capable enough to extract something out of me. They would go bear handed.

So, for all the things happened in the day, I was wondering why this has to happen during the late hours of the night. After a bit of recap now I understand, I was tested weather I am really willing to fight it out to win or am I being just normal to have a smooth day and end my life leading a happy retired man's life. I replied with my deeds, First I entered an altercation which I would not have to. Second I never succumbed to the pressure and paid the price. Third, when I was leaving I observed that my bike was racing away without me giving the acceleration. I had to catch hold of the break while driving all the way to my home, which I did to some extent. So if u do not succumb to such pressure, your life will race away to success. But when you understand that you can go out of control. I had to go the auto stand where there were drivers standing for their hirers, I explained them the situation. They helped me adjust my accelerator for the bike and I was back to normal and got back to home happily. When the moment of success is such that you get carried away and out of control, you need people to calm you down and put the breaks and say that the route ahead my lead to failure again so get back to success by just adjusting your accelerators.

Media creating division on caste basis between their readership

It is natural that when there are 8 crore people in a state. There would be some called as caste majority, the others caste minors.

That doesn't mean that the majority of the population on caste basis are the only once that would rule a state. Guys, I know that we were just 55% literate way back in 1956 but since then we might say that we improved a little bit of literacy. Since our population growth rate is high we still are at close to 70% being literate. But considering 75-80% of youth population in the state and about 85-90% youth being literate (studying above 10th standard) we should be ashamed of being talked out as caste majority and caste minority.

Think this way,

If u say that being caste majors would give you some benefits from the government. you are wrong. As per democracy. we are supposed to be the government. The people we elect are virtual servants of ours. If electing proper politicians, who can understand the needs of the state. There would be no need of the baits that are now being given by politicians such as fee reimbursements, amma vadi what not everything. And ladies please don't fall for those statements given by politicians for the mere sake of pampering their greed for power. Even if they announce the scheme and are successfully running it, they are making you lazy goats that are ready to get their heads savored.

Definition of government : In my opinion the definition of government is like this,

A custodian to the people's assets which should act in a certain way so as to increase its value, properly maintain, conduct the important task of making correct decisions to attend to the needs of the public.

What are the resources required to do that ?

Resources are people, money and involvement.

Where can we get those resources ?

For people we already elect them in view that they would accomplish the above things. For money our taxes and the interest credited by the banks for the money they hold in government accounts. Deals with private agencies for the setup of industries, infra structure and etc. Involvement is an indirect and most efficient resource that is not tangible. That is what we should look for when voting for certain party or a politician.

How the resources are to be used?

For people resource, we have the right to question them, dismiss them and punish them. But to avoid unrest in the state we created rules that the people (MLA's and MP's) are to be questioned for once in 5 years. we established the judiciary not only to investigate crime and punish criminals but also to punish the public representatives.

Ishanth's 6 Wicket haul

When Ishanth sharma first entered international cricket all thought of a 19 year race horse muscling its way through the thick bushes with an ambition beat the remaining racers. The young Indian fast bowlers bowled some outstanding in swingers to gain his place in the side.

One should consider that he is not the same old young bowler he used to be but compared to other fast bowlers of his era he is still maintaining the pace. Neither his swing changed, He can bowl an outstanding in swinger at a moderate pace to blind the batsman and hit the woods right in the centre. He is one of those gifted in swingers who just has a kitty full of amazing deliveries but fails to setup the batsman to make the mistake.

If you had a nice chef and he prepares every dish with all that he knows and understands from his past experience, the dish is supposed to turn out good. but if the taste buds say its a wonderful dish and still looks so ugly to look at the eye will not allow the hand to make the move to the dish and let the tongue feel the actual taste. We hesitate a bit to do that. The same case is with Ishanth's bowling. He has amazing deliveries in his kitty. The sharp nip of the cricket ball that he can produce can blind all most every cricketer who ever played, be it to the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and yesteryear greats like Gary sobers, Sir Don Bradman, Viv Richards etc. But all the above said players wait till  the last moment to hit a ball to the ground. So it is difficult to bowl that nipping in delivery and produce results, they would just fend it and continue to the next ball.

The trick lies here, Set them up with 3 straight on deliveries, 1 bouncer into the chest and then there you go all the batsman will now go a bit back in their crease, now if you bowl your ace out the nipping in delivery, there is quite a bit of chance that the above players faulter. It is not that Ishanth does not know all these,

But if you are playing a keyboard for the past say 5-6 years and suddenly you are asked to produce the symphony you might hesitate in the beginning but surely if you remember all the cords then definitely there is no stopping. Thats it if you remember some of the basics like setting up a batsman for a bowler like Ishanth would reach new heights and bring laurels to cricket and India as well.

Focus on the work at hand and continue to do so till the last minute. Thats the way it has to be done.

Note : I do not intend to coach or advise Ishanth Sharma by any means. What I meant is only my openion of the recent Test 6 wicket haul of Ishanth proving back to his critics why he is needed the most in the Indian cricket team.

How I Started my Cricket Career in BVRIT

I was always the shy guy while most of my classmates were outspoken and totally active. I spent most of the time in engineering waiting the same old green board that all my seniors might have watched. When I first entered the 1st year classroom, I was totally out of words to describe the classroom of 40 people waiting eagerly to interact and support each other. Within the first few days I made some friends in the classroom. Which I still remember till date to be the best of time we had in the classroom. To name some of the best people I have been friends with in the classroom, the list should include all 42 of my classmates as I have never had a chance of quarreling with any one of them.

The most probable reason might be that I hadn't had much time to spend with them in the first two years, by the time I reached third year of engineering it was totally like people know be better than I know about myself. Some of my juniors know me by my name but I never thought or anticipated that during the freshers party a group of 5-6 people all my juniors asked me what was my name? I still remember the incident till date. Mostly due to the insecure feeling in me that i have never turned up to any of the parties or movies in the first two years during which anyone who knows me could only find me in the library or the classroom. Even till my last semester in college i have an aggregate attendance percentage of 98 where others in my class used to pay challans for less attendance.

That was in my second year that I still remember, The venue was NTR Grounds at lower tank bund hyderabad. I was in the crazy costume u can call ( as i never had a chance of having professional cricket clothing) right in front of the batsman inside the nets with a long run-up to make the batsman get exhausted to wait the ball to be bowled. I started off with some of the mediocre bowling which was not appreciated by the captain of the team,( one of the seniors from Final Year) and was never given a second chance to bowl. after the team has been selected, there were those bowlers who needed some of the batting practice at the end. all the main batsman where tired batting inside the nets. So I thought this might be my chance to at least enter into the department team at least as a reserve. I asked the players if I could bowl again. with some resistance from few of the players i got those old balls in my hand and started to bowl at the nets. first few of the deliveries were again mediocre. The Captain once again iterated that his decision not to include me in the team was right.

I started again to have a go the batsman. This time more serious in my approach. I made all the balls pass by the bowler batsman without getting hit to the other end. After some 15 deliveries or so all the players started focusing at how I was bowling, since i had my classmates, two of them, already in the team, they were looking at how I was bowling. They liked it, appreciated it and finally I received the ball few more times to have a go at. this time bowling even better for every three deliveries to the bowlers i use to hit the wickets on the third always.

But when finally I was called by the Captain and he said me one thing, you are a good bowler no doubt in it, but we would leave the college this year, so I wanted to give my classmate a last chance to be in the department team. you have two more years to go, so don't worry and practice again.

That year we were out of the college cricket tournament after the first match itself.

The next year I have gone to the cricket selections this time the captain being my immediate senior. I was much better as a bowler in the nets all the time. I was picked-up in the team as a seam bowler bowling the first spell in the match. To ascertain that we wouldn't loose the first match, we had a practice match. where we played with one of the mighty teams of BVRIT.

To my surprise, I was not given the newball to have seam movement, also that I never fared well in that match. Finally it was decided to drop me from the team after the match was over. I finally felt I was never a good cricketer at all. Lost all hopes that I would ever play in the BVRIT tournament. I came back home and was dissappointed at my own performance. I was not given the new ball with which i was bowling very well. when i played as a first change bowler i have given away plenty of runs. I have fielded at fine leg never did I fielded at that position during all my cricket matches, so it was an ackward location for me. It was quite difficult for me to adjust for the bad and ugly bounces some times and right and left handed batsman sometimes.

so i was dropped from the team after the match. Some how i was still hoping and praying god that i would get back into the team and finally god heard my prayers sorry to say this but the person who took the new ball in the practice match has strained his leg during a basketball game which we regularly used to play in the college. so i was back in the team this time without a second thought i was brought back to my favourite place. New ball was handed over to me. the first ball a widish delevery. it would be easily gone to four had luck cheated me, but for everybodies surprise. the fielder some how stopped it at the cover boundary picked and had a go directly at the stumps. That was a run-out on the first debut match first delevery in the match. That was good for me, i gave away 6 runs in that over with single on every ball. The second over was fine without a wicket which was bowled by my classmate, he was our team captain the subsequent year. The Third over was a mirracle of sorts for me. I had the batsman beaten on the first delevery of the over, second one moving into the batsman and the classic way we see V.V.S Lakshman gets out for an inswinger. the third one was a repeat of the second ball. suddenly fourth was a beat and again fifth delivery i picked up a wicket. after the end of the over my figures were 2 overs 10 runs and 3 wickets, excluding one run-out. the third over was a normal one once again i ended up with figures of 3 overs 3 wickets for 16 runs.

KALKI AVATAR -- AS EVERY BODY KNOW WILL APPEAR AT THE END OF THE KALIYUGA

I will be retelling the story in modern era...

First the names :

As people who study myths know Kalki comes at the end of kaliyuga with VISHNUYASHA and SUMATHI as his father and mother. The basic constraint is Vishnuyasha is not a modern name to make the name modern I m using the jumbling method. For me its a code given by the great Vyasa in-order that the world doesn't know the coming of Kalki because there would not be real Vishnuyasha who would be Kalki 's father.

  1. Sumathi is modern so need to change that name and there may be many with that name so no problem.
  2.  The name Vishnuyasha can be jumbled to Ashu Shivany (Probably a north Indian name). He will be helped by the seven chiranjeevi's living . There names may also change to contemporary names .
  3. Parasuram is contemporary so no need to change.
  4. Vyass is also contemporary .
  5. Vibheeshan needs a change it will be Varun Jaan. (Ravan Anuj meaning the brother of Ravan)
  6. Aswathaama needs a change Atma Shaaw.
  7. Hanuman has got many names which are contemporary . One of the most common name in south is Anjan Kumar.
  8. Bali can also be a contemporary name.
  9. Krupacharya can be jumbled to Rupak Achary.

Their Professions :

They will all enter the world from the hiding befor the arrival of Kalki and settle as common people with the above described names. They will be working in the same company which will be headed by Bali and Varun Jaan (Vibheeshan) Vyass will be the intelligent one and educating Kalki about the latest technology developments and Parashuram the martial arts trainer to Kalki on defending those tech weapons with only a sword.  Hanuman the Physic will train Kalki with physical attacks. Varun Jaan will supply Kalki with military power.

a tribute to veturi sundararamayya

a song written by me - comments please
